Cathedral - The VIIth Coming (Hellion) 2003 N

It's unbeliavable that we have this great album from this great Doom Metal band launched here (it was launched last year in Europe). The killer and extremally strong riffs rules, but the algum is so varied, there are strong songs as Nocturnal Fist as Resisting The Gost besides "tripping-tracks" as Aphrodite's Winter (almost a balad) and Empty Mirror. Another detail is that the vocal is (few) more melodious. Certainly this is the best metal album launched in Brazil in this year. I'm thankfull to Hellion records for this release.

Originally launched in 1997 with different cover-art, this is their second album and is considered their best album, because they joined the punch of the first album with a little more technic. Here, the simple, hard (this explain because many people call them a Stoner Rock band) and dirty riffs rules. This american edition comes with a live bonus CD. Hellacopters - Grande Rock (Sub Pop) 1999 I

Here the changing starts. When Dregen (that prefered continuing just with Backyard Babies) left the band, the keyboard player Bobba Feet played the guitar (he plays in Diamond Dogs) during the record sessions and the sound that they reached in High Visibility started be shown here in some tracks as Paul Stanley and Venus In Force, but the punch of their two first albuns is still present.
