If you like 80's Trash Metal (as I like), if you like
Testament, this is your album. A re-recording of some
Testament classics as Disciples Of The Watch and The New Order.
The sound got power, with more agressive vocals and the strong
riffs giving new face, making the sound for the 21st Century.

Terra Firma - Terra
Firma (SPV/Rock Brigade Records) 1998 N
Some years ago, Rock Brigade Records launched two great
Stoner Rock albuns: Let It Burn from Nebula (see CD-Collection
9) and this album of these great Swedish band called Terra
Firma. Unfortunately they stopped, but this is a great Stoner
Rock album ! Riffs, 70's Psychedelic and so one. Eminence for

God's Favorite Band -
Down To The Filter (Roadrunner) 1996 N
Great Rock n' Roll band ! They launched just 3 albuns
between 1992 and 1994. This is their last album. If you search
carefully, you will find this album so ship. They play basic
Rock n' roll highly influenced by american garage rock and
early punk bands, with agressive vocals and riffs full of
distortion. Eminence for the tittle track.

Social Distortion -
White Light, White Heat, White Trash (Sony) 1996 N
If you listen this album before the last Backyard Babies
album, you will call the police to jail the BB vocalist, but
in this album (the last studio album with the guitarrist
Dennis Danell, that died in february of 2000) Social
Distortion showed us how the rock n' roll can be, simple,
melodical, without loose the punch. The guitar riffs are in
the first plan. Great Rock n' Roll album. Special eminence
forthe hiden track Under My Thumb from Rolling Stones.

Supersuckers - The
Greatest Rock And Roll Band In The World (Trama) 2002 N
This is one great american Punk Rock n' Roll that has their
26 track compilation now launched in Brazil. Basic rock, punk!
Simple, fast and strong songs, with lyrics full of humour and
references to girls, sex and drugs. This compilation is from
their "Sub Pop years" (1992 - 1997) that were their
best years. Maybe we will see them here in September, but you
can satisfy yourself with this great compilation. No special
eminence, all tracks sounds ROCK !

The [International] Noise Conspiracy - A New Morning,
Changing Weather (Highlight Sounds) 2002 N
We need to acclaim one initiative as it, specially from a
independent record label as Highlight Sounds. They launched
this album of these great Swedish rock band (that will come to
Brazil soon). The sound is highly influenced by Fugazi, but a
little fast and sometimes with swing. The lyrics are full of
political critics. The brazillian edition has two bonus tracks.
